What we are working toward
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.
What we have done
- Descriptive alternative text on product photography and informational graphics.
- Text and background color combinations chosen to meet contrast minimums.
- Semantic headings and landmarks, so screen readers can navigate page structure.
- Keyboard access to navigation, product selection and checkout, without requiring a mouse.
- Responsive layout that reflows for screen magnification and small screens.
- Form fields with visible, programmatically associated labels.
Third-party content
This site runs on Shopify. Some elements, including the checkout, payment fields and any embedded third-party applications, are provided by Shopify or its partners and are not fully under our control. We choose vendors with published accessibility commitments, and we will work with them on any barrier a customer reports.
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review the site as we add products and content, and we treat reported barriers as defects to be fixed rather than requests to be considered.
